Company background

Alberta Co-op Taxi was established in 1971, by three taxi drivers whose aim was to create a company in which the drivers had a say in the business they were involved in. From the first day of 4 dispatched trips to today, almost 35 years later Co-op has grown to be Edmonton's largest fleet with over 500 vehicles, 850 drivers and over 3 million calls a year! Lost my jacket in a cab, called dispatch immediately, they told me they would try to find it and call me back. Called lost and found on Monday; you have to leave a message and wait for them to return your call. It has now been two weeks with no answer and no idea how to actually find out where it is. Best of all: my car keys are in the pocket, and expensive prescription medication. Awesome. Good thing I gave a $20 tip, he sure took care of me.
