I was driving in Springfield MO and one of this company's cabs ran a red light at full speed, missed me by inches (kids in the car), then screetched to a stop past the intersection just so the driver could give me a rude gesture over the passengers in the back seat. I called to complain and the dispatcher informed me they only had one cab out at that time, and was really very uncaring and uninterested. I would recommending walking over using them, just make sure to watch out for their cabs if you're walking through an intersection.

I was the driver of the taxi you were referring to on that day. I am a Christian woman that will own up to my mistakes. I did "accidentally" run that light as I was distracted by the customer in the "FRONT" seat who was looking for his lost sunglasses and rummaging through my personal effects. I locked my brakes and steered away from you to avoid a collision with you. As for rude gestures...I have no idea what you were referring to as I did nothing but try to say I was sorry. You told my employer that I "glared" at you...how do you determine that I did that when I was wearing sunglasses? It was you that was at the side of my vehicle not me at your side. I admit to my mistake and as for an uncaring employer? She was right on it as soon as she got the complaint and I did not deny my wrongdoing to her. She gave me a chance to explain my actions and reprimanded me accordingly. To you and your family, all I can say is that I'm sorry I wasn't paying better attention as I should have been, and am much more attentive to my job and actions so this won't happen again. Blue Taxi is a very good company that I am proud to call my employer. We are a caring group of people who put the needs of our customers first. Don't let one little faux paux cloud your judgment when describing our company to the general public. Just last night I was nearly broadsided by a Dominoes Pizza delivery guy, but I wasn't hit by him and we went on about our business. I wouldn't dream of trying to get him fired or posting nasty things on the web to embarrass hi or his employer. But I suppose some people don't have to worry about making a living so they can spend their time on the internet writing less than accurate accounts of the days events. Thank you for allowing me a chance to voice my side of the events of that day.

We DO NOT run the time on while driving. We do not cheat customers. Our rates are 2.00 flag drop, 1.80 per mile and .36 a minute. We only have 6 vehicles which make it harder to get to customers quickly. We do the best we can to provide quality service. We also try to give the accurate time of arrival and not try to make the customer believe we can be there before its possible.

I've only taken blue cab a few times one time i called them because the yellow cab I called when i called to check on it the dispatcher said the cab should be there I was at the library on North Kansas this was when a few days after the blizzard hit and the snow was starting to melt so i went back to check on it because the dispatcher said the cab should of been there so I went back and seen the cab already pulling out of the parking lot i was mad so I tried to call Yellow cab back but i got the busy signal and I really needed to get home so i called blue cab and they showed up in like 10 minutes. Ill use Blue Cab if i just need to get someone in a hurry because they are a lil cheaper and sometimes yellow cab makes me mad some of there drivers say its company policy to charge for waiting for the customers to come out of there house some say they will wait til the customers get in the cab I think that is the way it should be. Once my boyfriend was in the bathroom and i told the cab lady and she charged Im like oh your charging because my boyfriend was in the bathroom at OUR house that's bs. I can't control our bathroom times That made me a lil mad too and the lady was sitting there filling out her log sheet too by the time my boyfriend got done using the restroom at our house before we even were in the cab the fare was up to $5 already. Next time that chick comes to my house Ill call for another cab because thats so rude. Everyone is having money problems some cab drivers should wait a few minutes or until the customers get in the cab before starting the meter if your waiting to pick them up.Im kinda scared to see if the cab rates go up at all with the way gas is going I know that the city bus will be used by alot more people that live here in town this summer and Im getting my bike fixed Ill be riding that til i can afford a Prius or something lol.

I called a Yellow cab the other day, and a blue cab showed up and offered to take me instead. I told them I didnt call Blue, I called yellow cab. They continued to try and convince me to take their cab instead! You people must be illegally listening to yellow cabs channel and trying to take their customers! This is not good business, I am heading into town to talk with the springfield internal affairs about this.

If this actually happened, you would be encouraged to call with the number of the taxi and report this to the company. Please feel free to complain to whom ever you wish. We run an upstanding company to provide the best possible service to our community and the surrounding area.

I was quoted $90 dollars for my fare, once the car pulled away from the airport and was on the road the price changed to $150. "Oh, did I tell you $90? I don't know where I got that."

Hmm, I hear that you run the timers while driving, which adds another 60c a minute to the fare. That more than makes up for the 10% discount, which is only 20c a mile cheaper than yellow. And you only have 6 cars, that take forever to get to me, because they are sitting at the airport.
