Today I saw an American Taxi Cab driver (tall, long haired Asian man) get out of his car and beat up a homeless person. Apparently the homeless man threw something on the taxi, but in NO way does that entitle the driver to hit him. When people on the street tried to intervene, the taxi driver started coming after them. It was taxi number 2234 - license 7U12742 and it happened at 9:30am Friday, October 16, 2009 at the corner of Sansome and Sutter near Market Street. People were already calling the police. I also called the taxi company and requested to speak to the manager/owner. My call has not yet been returned. Clearly this company employs people with rage issues. I find this behavior completely unacceptable and I hope you will with me, boycott this taxi company.
