Olde City Taxi

I have used Olde City many times but NO MORE. The dispatcher was very rude when I asked him how long it would be after I'd already waited 45 minutes. He became rather belligerent and told me to cal my City Council person (????). He will be reported in the morning.

Worst form of discrimination I have ever experienced, and it was by someone of my own race.

After giving this company a substantial amount of business, I must report that tonight my cab drive was unnecessarily rude to me. This will prevent me from using this company in the future.

On 10-25-08 at 7PM, my wife and I took an Olde City Cab from the Holiday Inn, Stadium (Philly) to the Wacovia Center for a concert. It was raining heavily- and I told the driver--perhaps someone from India or Pakistan-- that we would pay extra for the ride. The driver did not turn on his meter. When we arrived at the center, I offered him $10.  He said no. I offered him $20. He said no-- he wanted "at least" $30 for this brief ride. You should find out who this driver is and fire him. It left a bad taste in our mouth and our feeling for Philadelphia.
