Do you think Carmel will reply to this email I sent to admin? I had the misfortune to use your service to go to the airport on Tuesday 13th November. Never again! Your car turned up 50 minutes late. I had to ring at 2.40 to find out what the problem was I rang the dispatch who said the first vehicle had broken down and they were trying to locate another. The driver then said if I wanted to take so many pieces of luggage to the airport I should have used u-haul. I was travelling with newly born twin boys. En route the driver said the fare had gone up from $183 he had told me it was going to be to $290 - your company was going to charge me waiting time - despite the fact that the first driver didn't show up at all, and the second driver arrived 50 minutes after the booked time. We were trying to make a 6.30 pm flight to Sydney. We arrived at the airport 5 minutes before check-in closed. The driver did not give me a receipt. Your original fare quote was $152. Bizarrely we used the Williamsburg Bridge. I want an explanation and I want a receipt.

I had an awful experience with this company. It was the first time I used their service and absolutely the last one. First the van wasn´t big enough as we booked on line, one of my daughters had to travel on the floor because there was no more place to sit. Second, and more important, the driver they send to pick for us, didn´t know how to drive the van. He told us it was the first day he was driving that van, and never been to JFK. How can that be possible in a company that dedicates to this??? As soon as we start, we made two blocks, with GPS on, and he got lost, getting very frustrate and nervous. Then when we enter the highway he couldn´t manage the van well enough, he drive side to side, couldn´t getting the van on the middle of a lane. He went all the way cursing. Also he didn’t know how to follow GPS directions nor signs and could barely speak English, so is was very difficult to made us understand. We try to help him, giving us the directions but he was to nervous and out of him to pay attention to us. To make things worse, in the middle of the highway, the GPS falls and he just release the steering wheel, and we were about to crash if it wasn´t for my daughter that took control of it. He abruptly stop the van in the middle of the highway, without turning lights on and a truck almost hit us from behind. When we finally made it to JFK 8 terminal, my daughters were in shock, crying while he denied to take off the luggage. I sincerely thought this company was the best choice, but I was absolutely wrong. So make sure not to choose Carmel for any of your trips you will regret it. Hope this review help so nobody else goes through our awful experience.

I had bad experience, forgot umbrella, could not reach the driver, even I called immediately, was charged more for 50 dollars, liars. Wish them the same life around.

Very bad expirince. They are modern pirates. They are liars and thieves. We rented 2 vehicules to go to Newark Airport. It was a complete disaster. We had to call the police becose they wanted us to pay much more than the amount agreed.. NEVER AGAIN!

Una experiencia malisima. Unos piratas del siglo XXI. Mentirosos y ladrones. Alquilamos dos coches para ir al aeropuerto de Newark y fue un desastre. Tuvimos que llamar a la policia porque querían cobrarnos mucho mas de lo pactado. NUNCA MAS!

Carmel service is very bad. They charged 250$ from JFK to jersey city . They are saying 25% as the tip. THis is too much . Plz dont belive caramel taxi .

carmel limo service changed the "6" to an "8" on my credit card receipt making the total charged to my card $81.00 as opposed to $61.00. the car was held with one credit card and "paid for" using another credit card, however, both cards were charged $81.00. after calling carmel and asking for supervisors and such, i was hung up on by each employee i spoke with and lied to about the charges and even told that i was making things up. i recommend that no one ever take carmel car service ever because you risk being lied to and stolen from. if you don't believe my story, just go and read the dozens of other complaints anywhere online.

This company is being investigated by the NYC taxi and cab licensing dept.
We used them in NY and they were rude. They yelled at us, and tried to over charge us. They made us wait over 2 hours for a p/u and we missed our Broadway show because of it. Use someone else. Their driver told us that they don't care about their own drivers or customer service. I called 47 times and no one called me back. Go with another company if you want good service.

Wanda Walker is a professional complainer who complains to get a refund. It's that nuisance factor, pay her and she'll go away. I've asked her 5 times for a receipt for her alleged damages, no receipt.  Her story has changed so many times. I would not believe a word she says.
