THIS IS THE WORST CAB SERVICE EVER!!!!! SLOW AS HELL! I WORK @ HENRY FORD HOSPITAL & CALLED THE CHECKER CAB COMPANY TO GIVE ME A RIDE. THEY TOOK 2 1/2 HOURS TO ARRIVE & THE DRIVER HAD AN ATTITUDE! JUST GO OUT OF BUSINESS!

My group waited over an HOUR in snow and freezing rain for this stupid cab company, and when the cab finally DID arrive he said there were too many of us and left us waiting for ANOTHER half an hour until we were finally able to flag down a Greater Detroit Cab. By the 8th or 9th time we called, the streetlights on Woodward had gone out for the night and we were still stuck out on the street freezing. And this is just what happened trying to get BACK, on the way to our destination, the cab driver got lost and effectively charged us for about $4 extra dollars. I have never been so dissatisfied with anything in my entire life!

This is by far the worst cab company in the city. You either get a cab in 2-5 min or not at all.
As for working for this they have lots of ethical business tactics. Went to work for them in November and I have a hate time getting a cab to work in. Or the cab I get is really unsafe.
When in Detroit for the final four you may want to try greater detroit cab od detroit cab
Very bad company that has a long history of ties to the mob, and there actions still look like they are
