The ride that cost me $28 going from home to Ohare with a different company, cost me $48.60 with these guys coming home. Driver said it was a suburban rate. He skipped the exit off I-90 (I thought by accident, but after reading these comments I guess not) that I needed so I had him take the next one and turn on Western. We we got to Kedzie, he asked if he should turn here. uh..NO..Since it's not WESTERN?! I already filed a complaint with the city, hopefully they do something

These are the nastiest dispatchers I have ever talked to in my life! They told me to shut up and hung up on me.  The next time I called, they said I was stupid and that they don't provide city service- only suburban.  Stay away from this company!  They have my cell phone and will not return it!  They go by the name American Cab & Limo Service and also go under the name American North Cab.

I also had a bad experience with American Cab and Limo! I thought I was calling American Taxi for a return-from-airport drive, and called from the airport kiosk. Little did I know that the little icon was an imposter. Sure enough, the ride that normally costs me $55 wound up costing $90!!! I had even asked the driver for a price before leaving, and he ignored me and just kept going. >:(
