I was going to use Taxiquoter as i am a taxi driver and can offer an 8 seater minibus in Altrincham and Manchester Airport and surroundings however after reading these comments im not sure now. taxiquoter.co.uk is SCAM, stole my deposit, absolutely ridiculous. I do not understand how the police does not stop them.

TAXIQUOTER have been brilliant! TOP SERVICE. Ann from customer services is very helpful and honest.  They were the cheapest and I called around quite a few companies. SO WELL DONE TAXIQUOTER and I will definately use you again. BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE!

I tried picking a vehicle yet when I changed my choice the fare on the screen just doubled! Weird or what. So I didn't book with them... As for 'depends on the staff who take your booking' this doesnt fill me with much confidence either.

I booked a 14 seater mini bus to pick us up after a charity ball, I called back a week before to change it to a 16 seater all went well the took my money of £115..........The bus didnt turn up!!!
on the night when I called them all they could say was its booked in for 12.30 not 00.30 ......... no offer of any kind of help or alternative of how to get us home! when I checked my receipt it was clearly for 00.30!
This was on the 27th March, its now the 12th April and I've called nearly every day for a refund and as with other reviews either no one anserers or the person I need to talk to is never in the office. They must also watch the numbers coz when i call from my moble they wouldnt answer as soon as I called from a different number they answered. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! this put a downer on a very good night out, next step watchdog and trading standards!

Sadly I'm in the same boat as everyone else.Made a booking from Stansted to London for £235.No minibus turned up and when trying to contact them on the day of pickup at least 20 times to both numbers got another company to take us.Due to the late booking of the second company it cost us £400.I have tried in vain to contact this company and have passed their details onto the local authorities.Has anyone got any joy from them.Absolutely Disgusted with this so called company

I have to be honest we used taxiquoter over Xmas for our Xmas party's and they were Great we went from e1 to Windsor 14 seater and we got a bargain just depends on the staff who takes your booking I believe. I recommend using them again

Same old story I have also been given the runaround by this bunch of crooks. I have written to watchdog and to Consumer Direct and sent a letter to them by recorded delivery. Vicky used to talk to me online and on the phone and promised refunds that never appeared. She says her boss is called Chris but he is always out or has just gone out. I hope someone has the power to put them out of business

Same story as other correspondents and wish I had done a search on this company before placing my order. Needless to say the taxi never arrived and I am £25 out of pocket - a total scam. The promised refund just hot air. Several emails ignored and phone calls batted away with a fly swat. Next call is to Watchdog.
