In order to combat these attacks, a group of gay Businessmen got together and on the 26th January 1994, Freedom Cars was formed. The aim of the company at the time was to provide a safe an reliable transport Service for the Lesbian and Gay community. Although the there has been a transformation of ownership our ideals and values have not changed from the original idea We have now entered the mainstream Private Hire industry, Licensed by the Public carriage ofice and Transport for London,providing the personal and business communities with a safe and reliable transport service, irrespective of gender, race, or sexual orientation.
