30 April 2013 Hi Brian, Apologies for the delay in responding to this as I have had some changing work circumstances. I had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka, the country exceeded my expectations and I’m really happy I chose to go there. The culture, history, people, food and beaches combined to make it memorable. I do have some feedback on the car service. Your driver was very knowledgeable in broad range of things relating to Sri Lanka. He gave us a running commentary of things throughout the country which was both interesting and welcomed. He was always able to be ‘found’ and on time. This meant that we were never left waiting and when we went off on our own, we were always able to find him in the crowd. It was a good skill he had going on! There was a comfortable amount of room in the car which meant we were able to relax. Having a car at our disposal really was the way to go! It meant we could really do exactly what we wanted. It was always kept clean which showed he looked after the car well, this was noted and appreciated! Hello Brian, Wed 2 pm It is Wednesday and we are on the way to Negombo - I have discovered the lovely town of Kurunegala. Unlike other places there are barely any foreign tourists here. Vijay took me to a nice place for traditional Sinhal cuisine. I have been very satisfied with the arrangements for the trip. The car is comfortable, reliable and new. Above all, Vijay has proven to be a most satisfactory driver demonstrating safety and professionalism at all times. He has a good knowlege of Sri Lanka, the culture, the traditions and has apprised me of the unique character of each town we pass through. He has obligingly stopped whenever I have wanted to take photos and has taken photos of me too. He is a mature, responsible family man well suited to escort a wide variety of foreign tourists. I believe he is an asset to your organisation. I am a very satisfied customer and I would like other people to know that. The calibre of driver is most important when one spends so much time in the car. If he is grumpy, unreliable or does not have good knowledge of local conditions then it can spoil the holiday for the guest. But with Wije, he was always friendly, gregarious and happy to chat. I learned quite a lot from him.
