CBD surcharge is up to 12 midnight and is from Monday to Saturday. This surcharge is programmed into the meter and if it is not within the stipulated time, it will not appear, however hard the driver tried to get it out.
You have shown yourself as a disgusting passenger, by your act of throwing the money at the driver. Where is your respect for the senior.....left wanting!
on 19/7/11 tues i was on my same routine going back home while walking to the temporary taxi stand outside Chinatown Point taxi-stand.i took a taxi which was Transcab Co. the usual route was by CTE i took taxi home every evening after my work,i took every taxi i board with receipt as well. i understand that there was a jammed last evening along CTE all the way until Braddell then everything was normal again.i can't understand that the ERP charged me eventually $1.50 but the taxi driver manually keyed into the meter fare was $5,it was the cost of the meter price although it's jus few bucks different, but isn't it called Cheating, breaching of trust to the public? i was very disappointed and i quietly ask him was this fare the actual one,he mentioned Yes as due to Perk hour there'll be an additional charge of $1 but what i meant was the ERP,i took the receipt i paid him $50.10 and he return me the change.i sincerely hope that the relevant authorities can assist me on this matters.i email the feedback to Transcab but none was replied so i decided to sent my feedback to LTA as i believed the authorities will help to assist such dishonest case,what if the driver goes around cheating the public how can that be answerable?
