Back to Singapore Taxi

It was unfortunate that i had to meet such taxi drivers, and it's disappointing to know that such taxi drivers do exist.
I was picked up along Hougang avenue 5 on Sunday afternoon at about 2pm and made a request to drop my aunty and mother along serangoon road near NEX and enroute to Bishan park where that was going to be my destination. Upon reaching NEX, i quickly told the taxi driver not to turn into the taxi stand, but drop my family off on the left side of the road, there was still ample time to change lanes but instead, he complained in chinese saying " Aiya, earlier don't say!". There was absolutely no need to be so rude, but i kept quiet nonetheless.
After dropping my family off, he asked me where i was going, and i told him bishan park, as bishan park is huge and have different roads leading to it, I was going to Canopy restaurant which i assumed an illiterate like him, wouldnt know, so obviously i gave him an easier landmark which was the swimming complex. After nearing Bishan, he didn't know where the swimming complex was either and completely missed the turn, and i ended up at Bishan Secondary School, which was far from my destination. He kept demanding in a rude tone on where i want to alight, i was lost, and him talking to me in that manner did not help the situation either.
After that, he made a U-turn and turned into a carpark, near Club Seven and also the prawning place, and he was raising his voice at me now, asking where is the place. I tried to recall other popular places around Canopy and i remembered mcdonalds was nearby, so i told him that, and all he said was " MCDONALDS? I DONT KNOW WHERE IT IS!", that was the last straw and we started quarrelling.
First and foremost, i would like to point out, if i knew where the place was, i would definitely point it out to him, secondly, i might not even have taken a taxi. It just doesn't make complete sense that i pay S$10 for a cab that didnt even bring me to my destination and instead, i ended up taking another taxi to Canopy, a fare which would have simply cost me less than S$9.00, i paid S$14.00.
In all my years of taking a cab, he is by far, the rudest taxi driver i had ever come across!!
When i took a comfort cab last week, the taxi driver who didnt know the place very well, called a hotline just to find out, that was the extra mile he went for the passenger, and that is what i assume most taxi drivers should do since they are given a hotline number to call in if they are lost instead of demanding from the passenger for directions.
In the end, i ended up at some place, lost under the sweltering heat and he just drove off.
How could you guys hire such rude taxi drivers?! By the way, i tried searching his cab for his name and license, he hadn't display anything. Is that even right??!
