my horrible experience with TransCab driver SHD 5714A on 9 Dec at 1250pm. He claimed he doesnt have small notes for change and offer to stop by petrol kiosk to change. First kiosk, unfortch, no small notes and ATM could not dispense $20. 2nd kiosk, he offer to change and I remain in the cab and notice he let the meter ran. Why am I paying for something that's not of my fault? Shouldnt he ensure that he has enough notes in his cash float before his shift start? He was also engaged in a road rage with another cab driver in expressway. He was tailgating the other cab with me - a passenger in his cab! Is this traffic offence? Lastly, I told him to drop me off at Northpoint instead of my intended destination, and he assumed its the taxi stand without even asking me. When I ask why didnt he go straight, he raised his voice at me "You want to go Northpoint right?!! Are you finding trouble with me?" I have since called to lodge my complaint with Transcab on 9 Dec. They promise to get back to me within 7-10 days. Until today, I have not receive any calls. When I call, they said the Feedback dept has not act on my complaint! Outrageous! On top of my verbal complaint, I have also emailed 3 times to them. I have then cc LTA in my 3rd email. Transcab is the worst.

Encounter SHD426P at north canal road. Cab driver behind my vehicle using high beam causing distraction . Before right turn, when lights changed to green, cab driver did a multiple on and off horning prompting me to pass the amber lights. Its an act of reckless driving and hazard to road users. Cut it all short I will send a email to your office and lta and proceed to Meet the people and write a letter to LTA to make sure necessary action to be done instead of entertaining.

The GM of Transcab. Plse hold on the present fares, n do not increase them. Times is bad and any increase will reduce the ridership and passengers load. Also show the people of Singapore that Trans cab can help Singaporean control the transport costs, and not increase as n when even when the taxi company like Comfort is making good profits. We support you and hope by holding to the current rates you show that Transcab is a public responsible company caring for the welfare of its passengers.

I made a complaint against taxi driver of cab number SHC 5786Y on Sunday afternoon and i have yet receive any form of reply from your customer service officer when i called in to complain right after the incident.

It was unfortunate that i had to meet such taxi drivers, and it's disappointing to know that such taxi drivers do exist.

I was picked up along Hougang avenue 5 on Sunday afternoon at about 2pm and made a request to drop my aunty and mother along serangoon road near NEX and enroute to Bishan park where that was going to be my destination. Upon reaching NEX, i quickly told the taxi driver not to turn into the taxi stand, but drop my family off on the left side of the road, there was still ample time to change lanes but instead, he complained in chinese saying " Aiya, earlier don't say!". There was absolutely no need to be so rude, but i kept quiet nonetheless.

After dropping my family off, he asked me where i was going, and i told him bishan park, as bishan park is huge and have different roads leading to it, I was going to Canopy restaurant which i assumed an illiterate like him, wouldnt know, so obviously i gave him an easier landmark which was the swimming complex. After nearing Bishan, he didn't know where the swimming complex was either and completely missed the turn, and i ended up at Bishan Secondary School, which was far from my destination. He kept demanding in a rude tone on where i want to alight, i was lost, and him talking to me in that manner did not help the situation either.

After that, he made a U-turn and turned into a carpark, near Club Seven and also the prawning place, and he was raising his voice at me now, asking where is the place. I tried to recall other popular places around Canopy and i remembered mcdonalds was nearby, so i told him that, and all he said was " MCDONALDS? I DONT KNOW WHERE IT IS!", that was the last straw and we started quarrelling.
First and foremost, i would like to point out, if i knew where the place was, i would definitely point it out to him, secondly, i might not even have taken a taxi. It just doesn't make complete sense that i pay S$10 for a cab that didnt even bring me to my destination and instead, i ended up taking another taxi to Canopy, a fare which would have simply cost me less than S$9.00, i paid S$14.00.

In all my years of taking a cab, he is by far, the rudest taxi driver i had ever come across!!

When i took a comfort cab last week, the taxi driver who didnt know the place very well, called a hotline just to find out, that was the extra mile he went for the passenger, and that is what i assume most taxi drivers should do since they are given a hotline number to call in if they are lost instead of demanding from the passenger for directions.

In the end, i ended up at some place, lost under the sweltering heat and he just drove off.

How could you guys hire such rude taxi drivers?! By the way, i tried searching his cab for his name and license, he hadn't display anything. Is that even right??!

I had a terrible experience with a Trans Cab this morning. I was travelling to Compass Point and was abt to enter the carpark. As there were 2 lanes outside the carpark entrance (one for picking & dropping off passengers) and the other lane meant for cars entering the carpark. This cab SHB 5014 was on the outer lane not meant for dropping off passengers. Before I entered the lane, I saw him parking there, and so I gave him a horn to signal him that there are 2-3 cars behind him. He wind down his window and pointed his middle finger at me. Initially I missed this gesture, thought he was kind to gesture "he was sorry" by lifting up his hand, so but he pointed his middle finger again. I was very offended and I wind down my windows and told him off telling him he's wrong to be on the wrong lane, yet he showed vulgarities towards me just because he saw through his rear view mirror that I am a woman. I immediately lodged a complaint to Trans Cab and I hope that they will investigate my feedback. As service providers, I strongly felt that such attitude cannot be tolerated. I would appreciate it if in the 1st place he waved at me "apologising" rather than showing me the middle finger. And in case road users doesnt know, hand gesturing and vulgarities are illegal and I had been advised by the relevant authorities that I can refer this case to the Police. Regards

Took SHD5600- cab to office this morning. Overall attitude of the cab driver was terrible. He sounded like I made his life a tourture when he asked me which route I referred, sighed when I gave him more directions, then later cut me off when I was talking. And No, I wasn't making unreasonable instructions, I am a regular cab passenger and had my share of good and bad drivers. He seemed like he really didn't want to do be driving a cab, then please don't be. Go find another job. Trans Cab pick better applicants, train your drivers in good manners. Rather than sending them out and spoiling customers' day. You are way behind Comfort and I can see from the complains above, your guys are not going anywhere soon.

I would like to make a complaint on SHD821G. It was midnight when i alighted this taxi from my parents house at Choa Chu Kang to Lavender. The driver smells of very heavy liquor and speed. When i tell him to drive slower, he stammer due to heavy drinking saying he is in a rush to somewhere. I was really frightened and angry. I will never take Trans Cab again anymore. Can the management pls do something about your drunken drivers??? Why no reply from u all???

I am writing to report that on 18 Oct 2011 at 6.38 am, the taxi driver of SHC 5155 T refused to pick up passengers when he saw that they are not going to the airport.  His taxi was in the front line of the taxi queue of the Riverview Hotel.  He pretended to be munching a piece of small bread. The hotel guests asked me why this is so and I was too embarassed to tell them that the taxi driver was choosy and only wanted lucrative trips.  My contact number is 82609547.
