Beware taxi touts at Gara du Nord. Choose your own taxi and make sure the meter is on & working before you move off. We didn't and were ripped off by Domino Taxis. Romania Tourism should fix this poor advertisement for Romania if they want tourists to recommend their friends to visit.

I was in Bucharest in December 2011 and i got a taxi to take me to AFI shopping complex and instead of 10 lei i was charged 100 lei.Beware tourists as the taxi drivers rip you off.Ask how much the trip is before you take the ride.

I visited Bucharest many times and I will visit again, so far I never face any problem with taxi, anyway all driver I met were friendly even though some of them doesn't speak English so well. Congratulations for this website, I found it useful!

Some drivers are ok, some are pretty dishonest, rude and mean. The prices go from 15-20 EURO and maybe more. To play safe, just take the bus 783, which goes from the airport to the city center, for a price equivalent to less than 1 EUR. The traffic is terrible nonetheless, so whether bus or taxi it won't make much of a difference time wise.

Dear tourists and business people do not take the taxi from the airport or on the street. Be very careful! They will fool you with devices that doubles the amount of payment. They are rude and aggressive when you tell them that is not correct. Thanks to INFOTAXI. So we see companies that are serious companies that do not.

tourists be very careful with this. call the company if you need a taxi. NEVER TAKE A TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT! not only they will take a lot of money from you but also they will be rude to you. ARSENAL TAXI took from my friend 20 euros when normally the same distance would cost 1 euro..cos it is very close. so, for longer distances more money to take from you. be careful!!

Try this guy +40753366041 or v.i.p.transport.01@gmail.com  he is cheap and you can go with Audi A8. only 15 euro Airport transfer. Also he has good prices for many citiesin romania and bulgaria.
