I've been using Excite taxi's regularly for years and have recently been very disappointed in the shoddy service. On one occassion I waited more than an hour for a cab as the lady in the control room kept sending driver's to Milner road in Seapoint instead of Milner road in Woodstock, as I stipulated in all 3 calls . Yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. I called at 5:00pm to book a cab for 5:30 to meet me outside Shoprite in Woodstock . The gentleman even took down my number. When I called in at 5:45pm I spoke to a lady who told me the cab had waited for 20 min and she sent the cab to Milnerton 10min ago. The time span given does not even make sense.Clearly if I booked the cab 30 min prior to the pick up time I seriously needed it.Also, when I asked why I was not called to check I was told she knew nothing about me leaving my number as her shift had just started. There was no cab at all, and I was stranded outside Shoprite with my monthly groceries. The poor listening skills and lack of communication in the control room causes loads of frustration for your clients, not to mention the poor drivers who need to pay per kilometre. Now you have a dissatisfied customer and a disgruntled driver bacause it's too much effort to make a call in order to confirm.

Wot a mishap.some controllers do av sloppy attitudes.n jst av no respect for individuals.bt i jst hp dt incidents lyk dt b cleared up a.s.a.p .i bleive dt the phrase, customer is always rite works
