My husband left his phone in a taxi cab. Normally, losing a phone in a cab means it is gone; but we got the phone returned. Generally, some taxi drivers in Cebu are still honest. Thanks to 6 Sense taxi driver Mr. Armando Conato (GXJ 192). Very nice and honest of him.

this taxi with GXM-129 Catz Taxi had paid me more than what I would normally pay. The meter started at Hernan Cortez St Wireless, then we passed through Panagdait then to Ayala and dropped at Lexmark. Normally, I usually paid the taxi at 61.50. But this taxi cost me to pay 71.50. I also recognized that he is using the different taximeter. The taxi driver doesn't know I always take a taxi ride when I go to work. I wouldn't recommend Catz taxi. Sorry for this.

would like to acknowledge catz taxi driver Felix Mangolario... who is an honest person... sir thanks for returning my mobile phone which I accidentally left in your taxi yesterday afternoon, 4/30/2010. TO THE MANAGEMENT of catz taxi, thank u for hiring one honest person, may u hire more good ones, good customer service! keep up the good work.

The driver of one of their cars (with plate number GXD 648) attempted to extort from me by saying that Marco Polo Plaza has a "club" rate for taxis bringing their clients from Nivel Hills down to the city. In my case, I had to go to Mactan Island for which he said the rate was PhP350 (meter turned off) when the ride could've cost 150 with the meter on. The driver told me this when we were well away from the hotel's gates and the road was dark and it's a winding road downhill and I'm in a party frock. These drivers prey on their passengers (especially the women and especially when you're desperate, i.e., raining). Avoid this taxi operator if possible. I called Marco Polo to complain about the operator and the concierge said that in future, they will no longer allow that cab to pick up passengers from the hotel.
