Tad bit expensiv but great service. indian driver gave me a good deal which was not on the meter too for a 3 day tour family loved it. def would use sail again

This was easily the worst taxi experience I have ever had. Waiting for the taxi I had called from another company too long at 4am this morning I made the mistake of falling for this drivers line of "Why wait for them I will give you the best price" the usual fare of $10 from other companies cost $18 with this company and I had to get out and walk a good 2 k's early as the driver was the crepiest individual I have ever had the displeasure to be meet. Asking me questions such as "Will you shower when you get home" Do you Live alone? What the hell!! When I mentioned the fact that that he had "offered the best price" and it usually costs me $10 he replied that the fare would be a lot more than than that and if I was not happy he would take me back to where he picked me up...great service!!!?? To make it worse he deliberately tried to short change me when I paid. then to top it off when I responded that he had short changed me and how disgusted I was with his blatant dishonesty with the fare he replied with an extremely sarcastic OMG. I will not ever make the mistake of using this company again in the future. I could not possibly be any more disgusted

Our drivers all are very well mannered and experienced in the taxi industry and do not misbehave with any customers and usually do not make much conversation with the customers to avoid any complaints from the customers. If any incident has occurred we would like to know from the customers and also the vehicle number of the driver so we can rectify any issue such as this. The fares that the company charges all go through approval from the NZTA. The fares did go up during this year to meet other costs thats true, but our fares have dropped once again to meet customer satisfaction. Customers have informed us of the prices they think is reasonable and we have made our new fares accordingly. Dusgusting taxi service! We jumped out when we realised we had just been charged $17 to drive a few metres!!! we said NO No No! We'll get out, we'll take someone else. Then the driver verbally abused and threatened us until we gave him some money. NEVER use this taxi service!!!

WORST DRIVER EVER. I caught a taxi into town with co op which cost $10. The return trip with sail taxi cost $22. AND THE TAXI STUNK OF ASSHOLE AND CIGARS. Not necessarily in that order.

The price this company charges is insane and very disappointing. I traveled 2km to my home at 4pm in the afternoon with little to no traffic and was charged $15. When i asked why it was so expensive i was told because of petrol prices. Im suprised this company is still in business. Very very disappointing.

Worst company ever!!! Total rip off! We got charged $42 for one trip from the city to Sandringam-totally dead traffic-no red lights! It should NEVER be more than. $27!! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company is complete rip off if they charge fares like I experienced today.
I have lived in Auckland for 21 years - and luckily I have never used them before.
$29.50 for a fare from Novotel (Customs Street) to George Street by the Domain at 2:20pm, when the fare should be around $15.00 max, is so bad it will be reported to the authorities.
Don't touch a company that rips people off with both terrible fares and rubbish cars.
Learn from a mistake - and choose any other company excpet for Sails!

What a rubbish taxi company. Easily charged 3-4 times the usual fare for the trip from a close friend of mine to home. The driver told me that he was a student and drives when he can only make 'more cash than normal' and puts his signs on his cab when he wants to drive. Sounds dodgy to me. Unimpressed and will follow up with the company and then the NZTA

Worst taxi ever, I can't believe the prices they are charging. The driver said he had had 3 fights already that day and it was because the company had increased the fares because of the Rugby World Cup. The price was about 4 times the usual with other companies. I will place a formal complaint on the NZ transport agency. A total rip off and a very bad image for Auckland.
