I have used dicount taxi's alot. it always seems to be either a really nice helpful taxi driver or some one that just wants to rip you off. Sadly the latter is more common. also have had a friend that narrowly escaped a sexual assault in a discount taxi. have only heard good things about co-op, and every time i have used them they have been great. and when it comes down to it they're not much more expensive

HI , I have called 3 times in the last one month and always come across this pathetic,rude appaling male who is taking bookings when you call 5291000.He slams phone on you without listening to you clearly.
please dont travel with this company as the drivers are rude,and your safety could be in danger inorder to probably save few cents.
The safest company to deal with is 3003000.

They didn't explain that the flagfall was $8, (compared to the normal $2, it seemed excessive, so when i rang to ask why they didn't disclose this when I booked, they said by law they don't have to tell you what they charge!?  Woman taking bookings was so rude, and hung up on me. 
Seriously they constantly have the worst service, i'm over it.

Would you please tell how much from Auckland airport to off queen street? How can I find you in Auckland airport? Do I need book the taxi on the line first?

Hi Coco,
You can either take a shuttle,co-operate taxis or the airport bus , which costs around 14.00 NZD to get you from the airport to the Queen street hotels,but please please do not ever use 5291000 discount taxi's.You could book yourself a cab/shuttle taking you from the airport to the queen street by visiting thier individual website .Google the company name and mention the city name to keep it simple.

Our driver couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. We will surely be using them again when next in Auckland.

DONT USE THEM EVER! Drivers are rude and overcharge! One driver even kidnapped a friend and assaulted her - this is being delt with in court!

Sounds like a lot of crap-ola to me - you must be confused with another company - Theres NO WAY - NO WAY it would be discount taxis
