what a joke. ordered online 5 days before we arrived. waited 1 hour and then we were told they picked up the wrong people and another one would be there in 30 min but no rung back and all they could say was we couldnt get one out to us. not impressed ended up getting the bus which was cheeper and much more pleasant would not recommend this company to anybody shame on you

Terrible Service. Booked a taxi van three days before it was required and turned up 50 minutes late. We were late for the reservation by nearly 40 minutes. No organisation. The Taxi booked to pick us up was an hour and a 1/2 late. Pathetic, will NOT use this company again.

Rude incompetent and completely no organisational skills, communication disgusting.  I only hope the person that takes the calls is the owner because she sure would not work for me.  If she isn't -  then the owner needs to step up here and take control if he wants to stay in business.  Extremely poor rating from me.

Just a shocker... Was 1 hour and 5 minutes late for an airport drop off. Called 5 times and was told each time that they would be there in 5 minutes. I was quoted on the phone $21 and when I was dropped off the meter read $42 that I had to pay as the moari driver was getting threatning. The only thing cheap is the quality of the cars that smell of vomit. I called customer service a few days later and the rude woman that answered the phone told me there was no manager available and to basicly get to hell.  Keep away from this rubbish company

Have just moved to auckland and have found cheapcabs really are cheap. I recommend using them i would si rather wait an extra 30mins for cheap cabs than use anothwr company for nearly double the price.

I used this company a couple times recently. The first time was on a weekend night. I had scheduled the taxi a couple hours prior, and 15 minutes after it was supposed to show up, I called and was told it would be another 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I called and was told they still didn't have one on the way. The other time I scheduled a taxi for the middle of the day on a weekday, and it was there promptly. I guess I wouldn't expect a really cheap service to be available quickly at peak times, but when it's slow, it is probably fine.

Personally, I've been using Cheap Cabs for the past couple of months when I realised just how much cheaper then all the other companies they are. I've had no problems whatsoever.

My name is Nico, I called for a taxi on saturday night at approx 10.00pm and was told over the phone by a very rude woman that it would be an hour long wait. I felt this was fair enough as it was obviously a busy night.
I called back at 10.50pm and was advised the taxi was on its way.
At 11.15 I called back again to be told that the taxi had picked someone else up by mistake. I then asked how long it would be till another taxi as I was a woman by herself and it was rainy and dark and I needed to get home. I was hung up on.
Assuming it was just a bad line I called back again and was hung up on a total of three more times!
I was not abusive or intoxicated. I was by myself late on a saturday night trying to get home and I could not believe the way I was treated.
I eventually caught a taxi from another company at 12.45pm after standing in the rain all alone for two and half hours.
The manner which I was treated was disgusting and put me in a place of danger. I would urge everyone out there to use alternative taxi companies as they obviously have no respect for their customers.
Absolutely disgusting. Cheap cabs, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

u are right - they are bloody rude . i have had same experience before and i found her name is jessica laver the despatcher . write a complaint to the company whch is based in Mt Roskill .

unlike, these previous posters, i actually received excellent service, i was picked up from glenfield and taken to long bay for only 26 dollars.  The driver was very polite, courteous, and friendly.  The driving was safe, he took me there on the quickest possible route which most taxi companies don't.  I was very greatful and was very satisfied with the service of this taxi driver. I would recommend them, i have never had any bad experiences any time i have used cheap cabs.
