on 28th Feb 2011 we were abducted by blue taxi HWD2809 driver nick name Abi, real name Kanapathi.
Was shocked at the appalling response from limocabs and in particular Mr Tan and his boss.
We were picked up from the hotel by this crazy man and if you google HWD2809 you will see we are not the only tourist to have had a problem.
I have also been told that he carries a knife and has threatened a tourist before with a knife.
SHame on limocabs for not doing ANYTHING about this, especially when there are comments about his behaviour here.
Do not use this company as they do NOT care about your safety.
Abi you had two children and a women in your cab and you should be ashamed for your crazy behaviour. Your excuse that you did not understand what the word abducted meant is lies when we all know your English is excellent.
Now that I know you have done something similar before I will be following through with the complaint to the end, even if it means I need to return to Malaysia to testify.
I believe his intentions were to abduct us and do serious harm to us.

Hi Scared Tourist & those people who post here regarding the security and safety measures that this taxi company doesn't exercise! I was searching this webpage and was about to book a MPV 7 seater taxi for my trip at KL next week. Thanks for your information! I will look for a more reliable company or private limousine, even though it might be expensive but nothing is more important than our own safety especially in Malaysia when justice don't exist or can be paid with money!

This guy might be the same guy that assualted me in KL last year. His name was kana something on the name tag. He had a scar on his face. I left the country the next day but I hope you get justice out of this guy. We just felt lucky to get back to australia. Has SPAD done anything yet?

Yes he may not be your driver but he makes every taxi driver in malaysia look very bad.

Well I guess he did not know who he was talking to because I have so much drive and now that my life and my wives lives were put in danger that we will see "who we were talking too"
I do want to say sorry to his wife who begged me at the police station to drop the report. However this taxi driver kanapathi ("Abi") must not be allowed to hurt anyone ever again.
I will frequent this site now and will continually ensure that people from all over the world know what type of company LIMOCABS are and what type of people they employ.
SHAME on you MR BK Tan, one of your customers lives were put in danger and you did nothing. You should not be in a management position of any company let alone one that has direct contact with the customer, and especially ones that entrusts people lives to your company

The previous company he worked for was citicab when he pulled a knife.
Why does limo cabs not investigate their employees, we were told by a male taxi driver at about 5 pm just after the incident from LIMOCABS that he was well known for bad behaviour.
Had we been killed Limocabs would have had blood on there hands.
And for the record I received NO apology from Limocabs.

I suggest alternative tourist destinations to Malaysia, as Malaysian police are not interested in YOUR safety.
Taxi a TAXI in Malaysia especially KL at your OWN risk.
WHERE else in the world can you threaten a tourist with a knife? Maybe IRAQ or AFGHANISTAN
