On 20th May, 2011 at 9:31 pm I and my wife took Comfort Radio Taxi at the KL Central Station. We needed to go to the airport to take our plane at to ISeoul, Korea at 11:30 pm at KLIA. When we took the taxi, we asked the taxi driver to hurry so that we won't get late to arrive at airport. He said that he could reach KLIA in 40 minutes. However, he headed to the opposite way from KLIA. We asked why and he said he needed fo fill the gas because the taxi was ruunning out of gas. We arrived at the gas station and waited about 30 mins and he didn't say anything sorry about it. We asked the taxi driver how many mins will it take from gas station to the KLIA and he said he could get in 30 mins.
From the gas station to KLIA, we passed KL Sentral again and we had only few traffic jam. When we asked again when the local time was nearly 10:30 , he said he could arrive in another 30 mins. On the way to KLIA, we took the toll and driver asked for toll fare for 10 ringgit and the actual toll fare was only 4 ringgit. Guess what?
WHEN WE FINALLY arrived at KLIA, it was 11:30 pm and we missed the plane. That meant we had to buy new tickets and spend expense for 1 more extra night at the hotel. We asked the driver to make an apology to us for going to gas station without asking permission , asking extra charges more than official toll charges, telling us that he could take us in time but for not making it.
The driver made excuse that he arrived late for traffic jam, it wasn't his fault. When we said we wanted to complain this to the Comfort Radio Taxi company, he insulted as "STUPID KOREAN, Very Bad of you!"
Wow, I can't believe this unpleasant experince really happened to us at the day we were heading back to S.Korea. We loved staying in Malaysia but what this happened to us is not acceptable so I decided to write comments in here.
What I demand is
Apology from the Comfort-Radio Taxi Company to us
We bought the ticket and have recipt no: 1306552 from KLCentral to KLIA at 9:31 pm, Date: 20/05/11
