I'd need to hire a taxi from Ashdod Port febb. 8th 2012 at 07,30 in the morning to go to Jerusalem. We are a family of 5 adults. How much could it cost? could the taxi be with us the hole day long an take us back to the port of Ashdod. How much could that possibility cost? Waiting for your answer Ana Maria

Hired a taxi from this website from Eran joon fod day in Jerusalem. Turn out to be absolute disaster. The driver is 20 minutes late in pickup in the morning. Later on, it proves he cannot speak any English and thus cannot communicate to us at all where he is taking us. I have to keep calling his boss who does not know where he took us as well. They are supposed to take us to 5 spots in Jerusalem but instead only went to 2 spots - the wailing wall the Church of Holy Sepulcher. He got lost afterwards and keep asking people on the street. At 2pm, we are still circulating around city. Finally we run into someone who is willing to arrange us to another car to go sightseeing as we have only this day to see Jerusalem.The driver hold us hostage and refused to let us get off the car unless we paid him in full. He only did less than 1/2 the job. We have to scream for help to alert security guards in the hospital where our car wandered into. We finally has to pay him almost in full before he let us to our freedom. We then subsequently , with the help of the hospital staff, hire another taxi to take us to see the rest of Jerusalem and took us back to Ashdod where our cruise ship is. But we have to spend more than double our budget. This is an absolute tourist nightmare.

I would like to hire a taxi to pick me up at the Ashdod Pier on Wednesday late morning, September 21 and take me to my hotel in Downtown Jerusalem.  Then I need a taxi to pick me up at the hotel on September 22, early evening and return me to my ship (Vision Of The Seas) at Ashdod Pier.  May I make a reservation now and can you tell me the cost?  Thank you in advance.  Mary

We will be arriving by cruise ship on Aug, 30th and would like to spend the day by the Dead Sea.  How long is the drive and about how long can we stay if we need to be back at the ship by 6pm.  What is the cost?
