I have been an expatriate in Iran for 3 years and I can say the iranian taxis are awful. There are only old cars and the iranians drivers drive in a risky way. At the begining I took only cabs but after some accidents I decided to take my own car. To sum up, do not dream about iranian taxis because there are old and dangerous. However, you have no other choice because there is not other way to go in the town center of Tehran.

Excellent company. During my month of stay in Iran I used this company as my private drivers. I For a very small money, we can live like a king in Iran. They respect foreigners a lot and love to learn about life in North America. Many of their drivers were retired pilots or officers and had great class and surprisingly good English. You should try the Iran Taxi when you go to Iran.
