Can I book Meru or any other cab on daily basis for a fixed destination (Andheri to Vikhroli), at a fixed time (5.45pm) for a month.

BOOKING THRU PHONE TAKES MINIMUM 10-15 MINITES TO BOOK A MERU CAB. ITS  TOO HIGH TIME TO BE IN Q.WHILE WHEN CALL IS LOGGED IN IT INDICATES THAT THE EXPECTED TIME FOR Q IS 3 MINUTES ONLY. i will not b able 2 trust meru again as i went thru lot of tension on 6th April as the ref no ABA55731 DRIVER DID NOT TURN UP AT APPOINTED TIME.My husband almost missed his international flight because of your unprofessional approach.take action against the main culprit

Never Trust Meru Cab. It will fail you almost in 65% times. I booked a Meru Cab in the veneing of 4th October 2010 for 8:30am next day i.e. for 5th Oct 2010 from Chembur to Mahalaxmi for a very important meeting. The lady confimred my booking. I also received a sms confirming me the same with a ref no AABA12582.
I was shocked to get another call at 8:10am on the day the car is supposed to reach me at 8:30am that she is extremely sorry that no car is available. I was in a fix since I had just 20 mins to get a car for which I was not ready. I wanted to speak to thier senior most executive but no one was available. on second thought and on my pressing hard, she informed me if a car at 8:45am would be ok for me. I agreed without any option at that juncture. No car reported till 8:45am. I received a sms confirming a car number and driver's name. I called up the driver, to which he informs me that he is at least 20 mins away from my place. I had to drop the idea of going by meru and cam by an yellow cab in this hot summer.
SO CAN YOU EVER TRUST MERU?? HOW DO WE TAKE THEM TO TASK??

We also experienced similar problem today. The cab driver, whose number that was sent to us, was sleeping at his home 20 kms away from our place when we called him upon not turning up at the requested time. My sister in law nearly missed her flight because of this. Pathetic service.

I also agree. Meru Cabs also do not want to ply when the distances are not very long. The worst is they lack the spine to say that they cannot provide a cab, instead confirm the booking and also send you a confirmation sms with taxi number and mobile number of driver leading you to falsely believe that the cab will turn up. Better to go by the local cab service than wait for a Meru. they are the most unreliable service, especially when an occasion demands it.

I also agree. I tried to book a MERU CAB to take my aged parents from Andheri East Pump House to Chembur. Inspite of booking 24 hours in advance through internet I got a curt response that MERU CABS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. I am convinced that their Cabs are available only if the pick up n drop destinations are convenient to them/ their Drivers, as inspite of complaining by email and accusing them of plying on select routes I have not received any response from them.
