| The Hotel Villa Canu is situated in the typical little town of Cabras, along the coast of Gulf of Oristano, on the shores of the lagoon and near to the Sinis Penisula that, with its shores of quartz sand (the beaches of Is Arutas or Mari Ermi), its lagoons with flamingos, the ruinas of Tharros (old city founded by Phoenicians), the Turre Seu headland (an Italian WWF oasis), the nuraghes, the gastronomical traditions (bottarga, merca), is one of the most valuable jewel-case of values and passion in Sardinia. Villa Canu is a very charming Hotel awarded three stars. It is situated in an old, typical country house in Campidanos style, in the historical centre of Cabras, 150m from Restaurant Il Caminetto. The hotel consists of 23 rooms, 18 of which have a direct access from the patio-garden, with 40 beds in all; every room is equipped with bath, TV satellite, direct dial telephone, adjustable air-conditioning and minibar. The guests can take advantage of a special convention with the typical restaurant Il Caminetto (of the brothers Canu). |
