| Bodrum is, without doubt, a unique holiday resort. Those seeking peace and quiet and unspoiled nature can discover a different side of Bodrum in the many quiet little villages or sparkling blue bays in the vicinity. The area is not short of history with the crusader castle of St. Peter dominating the bay of Bodrum and the remains of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the wonders of the ancient world nearby.
