PEARL BEACH RESORT

Tikehau is an almost circular atoll with an interior lagoon 26km (16 miles) across and a pass for small boats through the coral reef. Jacques Cousteaus research group made a study of the Polynesian atolls in 1987 - Tikehau lagoon was thought to contain the most fish. The atoll has 382 residents. Tikehau is a 55 minute flight from Tahiti. |
