I called Shanghai taxi to book a taxi for the next day going to the airport and I am very pleased with the operator's service. I will let you know later if the actual taxi service is as good.

Taxi service in Shanghai is great. Twice it happened to me that the taxi driver didn't find my destination so they stopped the meter and they asked for directions from fellow drivers and drove me there. I had to pay only according to the meter reading when it was stopped. Chinese people are extremely friendly and helpful and I really miss living there.
