Rates Taxi Rates in Calgary are regulated by the City of Calgary Livery Transport Service. Because of this regulation, all taxi companies in Calgary follow the same rate structure. For more information on the Calgary Livery Transport Service please visit the City of Calgary's website at www.calgary.ca Current Taxi Rates (G.S.T Included) Rate 1 : $3.00 first 150m: $0.20 each additional 150m or portion thereof Rate 2 : $5.00 first 150m: $0.20 each additional 150m or portion thereof $24.00 per hour waiting time or $0.20 each 30 seconds or portion thereof *Rate 2 can only be charged for trips originating from the main passenger building of the Calgary International Airport. This rate includes the airport departure fee of $2.00 **Flat rate fares not allowed. ***Driver is not required to carry change of more than $5.00 from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M., $20.00 from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. For complaints or compliments on the taxi service you have received, contact the City of Calgary Livery Transport Services at (403) 221 3580. Include the taxi number and the taxi driver's city license number.

I called Mayfair taxi at around 6:10am and the operator is so rude and sarcastic! He should not be in that position and he is unprofessional!

Checker yellow taxi is the best company in calgary, they own more than 700 taxi that's half of what calgary has in cabs, I always use them they provide great services, while mayfair only has 70 and associated is always busy in Airport

Super rude operator that took my call. She sounded exasperated as I tried to explain that my street address is confusing. She cut me off and I apologized but she didn't seem to care. Poor customer service. Hopefully she is not a reflection of the company.

Dear sir, madam
We would just want to say many thanks for rescuing us at WalMart at Southlands after being promised a cab from Checker Cabs.  1½ hours later they still had not turned up, but after a 5 minute wait after calling Mayfair, we were picked up.  We shall be using your services from now on !!
