On Tue Jan 31st left my iphone in a checker cab and my foreman called it at 6 am and the cab driver told him i left it in the cad and to call Ian McGregor so my girlfriend called and left a message to call me back and said to call lost and found! its been five days and still no response, could someone please call and let me know what the status of my phone is asap. Phone lines are always busy, non-stop hold. I cannot believe how unreliable this company is. I've tried Checker and Mayfair today, and Mayfair kept me on hold for 20 minutes. I'm going to be late for work because of this.

Use Checker Taxi all the time. Drivers are always friendly and courteous. Excellent company.

Called a Yellow Cab going from 17 Ave  13 Street to the Airport in the morning of 29 Sept.  Usually it would cost me about $33-34 for the journey, but that morning with no traffic jam, the fare was $50, a 50%  above normal!  The greedy driver (an E Indian Sikh immigrant, according to him) must have turned on his metre before the journey began.   Is this lawful?  He even insisted a tip for his lousy rip-off service.  Never Yellow Cab again, and pick your Driver!!!

I lost my iphone in a cab :( I dont think I'm gonna get it back. I just wanted to post this, cause I still can not believe I lost my iPhone. The checkered cab people were as helpfull as they could be, I guess.

Screw complaining to the cab companies. If you have a serious issue like inappropriate conversation, aggressive behaviour, theft, destruction of your property by the cabbie call 3-1-1 and have them put a service request to livery services/taxi commission. The companies will never do anything as the cabbies are not employees they own the cars and pay the company to use the name.

dropped my ipone in the cab and did not realize it till the driver was gone.  neither the driver not the office what to deal with it.  Filed a police report with CPS, now it is a stollen phone and someone will be charged!  Screw you checker and all your East Ind....  ass.....le drivers!

My son lost his phone in a Checker taxi on Saturday night. This doesn't make you feel good about getting it back....have called the office a few times now and the drivers seem to have no responsibility or feel the need to be honest and return it to its right full owner! Sad world we live in now...when everyone is out to take from one another = ( I would really like to feel there are still some open and honest individuals in this country!!

Cabbie will not return my Iphone!  And his office says it is not their problem that I dropped it in the cab.  Well, it is their problem now cause I have reported it stollen and CPS can deal with them...  F*** you checker and all you east inidan drivers!

Cab drive home from a company event. Was just me and him in the cab. I'll admit, I was pretty drunk and complaining about my recent ex. He tried to talk me into having sex, or "we can just have a 69". I didn't understand that he wanted to have sex with me until near the end of the ride. Once I did, I firmly stated no. Had him fill out the chit form and asked for his cab number, not realizing at the time that it was already written on the chit. He gave me a false cab number, 1231, which I wrote down before giving him his copy. Checked the cab number upon exiting the cab, find it's different then what he told me. Hurry inside and lock the doors. Call the cab company to report this, they tell me I have to call the police. Call CPS, they say it's a matter for the cab company to deal with. Have had other good and great rides with the company, but this driver was very creepy and inappropriate. Even with all the doors and windows locked, I feel very unsettled. Hoping that when I call the company tomorrow, they will take action so this driver will not take (or try to take) advantage of another drunk girl.

What was the real Cab ID, any update on how they followed up with the driver? That is insane I can't believe the CPS said it wasn't an issue for them to deal with.
