I would like to make a complaint about a rude driver who picked my mother up this morning. I asked him to swip her card so I could retain it for safe keeping but he refussed and then proceed to call me a lier when I said that the drive on Saturday swiped the card before the journey. He argued and said it could not be done saying I was wrong. He refussed to listen and proceed to take the card. I was very cross at his lack of taking into account what I said. I rang Melbourne taxi's who then told me to wring the card company as they were not sure of the policy on when the card needed to be swiped. The card company said the ideal time was at the beginning of the journey but as the carer usually had the card it could be done at the end of the journey. I like to keep the card as my mother would not remember to ask for it. I was very distressed at the attitude of the drive and his inability to hear what I was saying to him.
