On Sunday 1st Jan between 2-3am I was picked up in Elizabeth st Hbt heading to 29 Florence Moonah,I left my Silver cigarett lighter case on back seat,I've had it 30 years and would love its return! Small Reward offered! Thankyou.

Booked maxi taxi at 9.40am with united taxi's Hobart for pick up new Years Eve at 12.45am. Phoned at 12.30am to confirm they said they didn't have any record of my booking. Will get taxi to us in 15mins. 5 phone calls later with excuses that driver logged off another 15mins etc. We were stranded with my elderly mother and 2 children until 2.00am in the cold. Thank you to a passerby who advised us where to go to meet a taxi we had 2 taxi's from another company in 5mins

At 09:40am today i was driving to work along Risdon Road Lutana whien a United Taxi driven by a male pulled out in front of me from Lennox Avenue on a very wet road. I beeped the horn as I slammed on the brakes only to be greeted by the old one finger. (HE did not give way; HE was in the wrong!!!)I ask only that you speak to this person and ask him to use a little common sense a a lot more courtesy. This is why taxi drivers have a repuation for being arrogant aggresive and rude.
