Women applicants for a taxi driver licence in Los Angeles, California can obtain an application form from the Public Carriage Office

Women should attend the Public Carriage Office between 9 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays). Make sure they have answered all the questions and make sure they have signed  and dated both the form and the declaration, also they must bring with them:

1.  Birth Certificate.*

2.  DVLA driver's license (Full) with the current address.

3.  If they are a married women you must bring their marriage certificate.

4.  If the name has channged other than by marriage, then they will have to bring the appropriate documentation.
