GATEBIL indoor exhibition, 24th-26th of NovemberAuthor: Torgeir "Torill" Toft Engerud / Henrik Thorstensen The first GATEBIL Indoor Exhibition is now over, with great response from the over 13 000 visitors. Both GATEBIL and Norway Tradefairs is very pleased with the good response and the number of visitors, which results in a bigger and better indoor exhibition next year! While cold windy days stormed outside, the exhibition hall were filled with pleasent sounds of engines pushed to the maximum. In co-operation with Bjørnstad Bil, several of Norways most extreme cars was taken to the limits as they got to prove the power distrubuted trough the wheels on the dyno, surounded by hundreds of fans eager to see the final results. The announced "Supra-battle" took place on Saturday and Sunday between the three most modified Toyota Supra's in Norway. Tommy Hammerstrøm won the challenge, with 869 horsepower, on the rearwheels. After winning the big lottery, the GATEBIL TAXI is now owned by Ørjan Haukeland, a 18 year old mechanic and long-time enthusiast.
