Beverly Hills Taxi Operator Permit

Applicant to a taxi operator permit Beverly Hills, Florida must apply in person and must submit the following:

Letter of employment from your taxi company

Negative test results for Drug & Alcohol test.  First time applicants must provide results within seven days of the application.  Renewal applicants may provide results within one year of application.

$150 payable to the City of Beverly Hills (cash or check)

Complete the City application, which must be completed in the office

Sign-up for the next available taxi exam. You will be given a current taxi driver booklet of information needed to study for the taxi exam and exam interactions.

After passing the taxi exam, all new applicants must schedule a photo and fingerprinting appointment with the Beverly Hills Police Department at (310) 288-2641.

The fee is $32.00 (cash or check).  The fee is waived for renewal applicants, but an appointment must be made for a new photo for identification card.

The procedure to obtain an application for an absentee ownership of taxicab is the same as the above procedure but without the taxi exam.  The Transportation Programs Manager reviews the application. It is recommended that you call for an appointment at (310) 285-2552.
